From the age of 8 I was bullied about my size. Always being labelled "the fat kid" gave my confidence one hell of a bashing. This continued up until I was 18/19 years old, but still, now, my confidence is as low as ever.
I find it so hard to lose weight. On so many occasions I have tried, but I guess just not enough! I know that eating well and making your own meals is a good start, but with being unemployed, I can't afford to buy all the ingredients needed for every meal that I would need. Neither do I have the confidence to join a gym and have all the skinny, fit people around me mocking me :(
My point is, is it possible to lose weight, by just simply exercising daily, and cutting down on things like chocolate etc, and not eating salads and healthy meals 24/7?
I'm 21, and I must weigh around 15st, I NEED to lose weight, not for anyone else, but for myself.
Does anyone have any healthy meal ideas that are not too expensive and any workouts they would recommend?
Happy blogging!
Kx
Ok - its important to be healthy and exercise a bit each week, however weight isn't everything. It sounds like you have a fantastic personality and you should try to be happy in yourself no matter what you look like/how much you weigh. Try to be positive :)

Hey lovely, I was over 15 stone when I started losing weight. Honestly there are no secret tips or tricks and something that works for one person might not work for you. Be open minded, try new things ( this includes EVERY class at the gym - I'm hooked on spinning and kettlbell and I always thought of myself as a legs bums and tummy kinda gal). Try to cut your calories by 500 a day but try to stay over 1200. Eat when you're hungry and make sure you satisfy hunger with healthier foods, even simple things like swapping brands can cut calories.
ReplyDeleteI definitely don't eat healthy 24/7, try to split it 80% healthy and 20% not so healthy. You'll quickly favour healthy food anyway, I often find myself thinking of strawberries and cherries and treats now instead of a giant bar of galaxy!
Just have faith in yourself, it will be hard work but you can do it and when you're close to giving up remind yourself you'd be at your goal size by now if it wasn't for giving up! :)
hope some of this is helpful, feel free to tweet me if you want any advice xoxo
