Ok so April was a busy month (well, it wasn't busy, just busier than usual!) with the cakes I had to make.
My friends little girl turned 5 on April 2nd, and asked me to make her 2 9" cakes, and as a present to her daughter, I made her enough cupcakes for all her guests (she had a disco with around 40 children!) With the 2nd being a Monday, and also my nan's birthday, I found time to make the two 9" cakes, and 48 cupcakes, on the Sunday, so I then had enough times to decorate the cupcakes the following morning, deliver them, and then go visit my nan's grave. Luckily, everything went to plan, apart from having to do a late night run to Tescos at 10pm because I ran out of butter, eek! Unfortunately, I didn't take photos of the two 9" cakes, for some reason I do not know, but here are the finished cupcakes.
For an amateur cupcake maker, without blowing my own trumpet, I don't think they're too bad!
My uncle has been nagging me to make him a chocolate cake, so, I thought I'd go all out with it, and here's my finished product ...
Also, it was a family friends birthday at the end of March, so I decided to finally use my giant cupcake silicone mould, and made her one!
Hope you all have a good weekend!
